About Emiley:

Sometimes we face challenges and life events that feel as though the rug has been pulled from under us. These times can be very disorienting and may cause disconnection from others and even from ourselves. Therapy can remind us that we are not alone and that we have resources available. The therapeutic relationship can allow space for reflection and for considering changes that help us move forward. Working together often includes making sense of our stories, noticing patterns, modulating emotions, and increasing compassion for ourselves and others. Growth takes time and effort, and yet the ability to live in alignment with what we know to be true and to access our deeper selves is a worthwhile endeavor.

I work with individuals (ages 16+), couples, and families looking for support. I am knowledgeable about trauma and attachment as it pertains to our mental health and relationships. I am experienced in working with anxiety, depression, grief, parenting, and relational difficulties. I am a person of faith and, if indicated, willing to incorporate spirituality in our time together.
