Rates & Insurance

Our office is ready to answer any insurance or billing questions you may have
and, if at all possible, will check on your coverage prior to your first appointment so that,
hopefully, there won't be any surprises at your first appointment or when your claims process.

the form within the "Contact Us" page of this website.  We will respond to inquiries
within one business day in most cases.

Here is some information regarding rates, insurance accepted and payment policies :

 

RATES FOR SERVICE

 

Diagnostic assessment                                      $175.00

Individual psychotherapy:

-    55 minutes                                                      $155.00

-    45 minutes                                                       $125.00

-    30 minutes                                                       $90.00

Family therapy

-  45 minutes                                                        $155.00 

No show or late cancellation (less than 24 hrs notice)         $50.00

Phone consultations are charged at a rate of $32.50 for 15 minutes increments (all or part) beyond the first 15 minutes.  There is no charge for phone consultations for 15 minutes or less.

Requested letters with a signed release are charged at $35.00 for the first page and $29.00 for each additional page.

Court testimony is charged at $400.00 per day (all or part).

Reduced Fee

Up to the discretion of the therapist.

Insurance:

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy

In order to make appointments available to those who need them it is crucial to notify us as soon as you
know that you need to cancel or change your scheduled session.

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, or if you cancel or re-schedule your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, you will be charged a $50 fee.

Obviously, we will make every attempt to work with you in case of emergency or illness and therefore reserve the right
to modify or forego assessing these charges on an exception basis.
